Ravin Jain is a British engineer with Indian origin. He currently serves as head of strategy for Scuderia Ferrari.

Biography

As an Indian descent, Jain graduated from King Edward's School, Birmingham. [1] He obtained a bachelor's degree in Physics and a master's degree in Mathematical physics, both from University of Oxford. [2]

Jain had several summer placement experiences with multiple Formula team, including Caterham and Williams. [3] He joined Scuderia Ferrari as a mathematical modelling enginner in 2016, and worked as that title for six months before moving to a new role as race strategy engineer in 2017. [4] He was appointed as the head of strategy by the team principle Frédéric Vasseur in 2023, replacing Iñaki Rueda, who would take on a new role back in the Maranello factory. [5]

Ruth Buscombe is a British motorsport engineer and presenter for F1 TV. A first class honours graduate of the University of Cambridge Department of Engineering, she began working in Formula One with Scuderia Ferrari at its headquarters in 2012 as a race strategist. Buscombe later moved to Haas F1 Team in November 2015 to become the team's strategy engineer. Although not officially credited, South African engineer Rory Byrne was heavily involved in the design of the F1-75. As the car proved successful in the first part of the season, his contract was renewed for three years.
