The 15th Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. [3] Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises western Rock County, southeast Green County, and parts of southeast Dane County, Southwest Jefferson County, and northwest Walworth County. It includes most of the city of Janesville and the western part of the city of Beloit, as well as the cities of Brodhead, Edgerton, Evansville, Milton, and Whitewater. [4]
Janis Ringhand is the senator representing the 15th district. She was first elected in the 2014 general election and is now in her second four-year term. She previously represented Janesville in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 2011 to 2015. [5]
Each Wisconsin State Senate district is composed of three Wisconsin State Assembly districts. The 15th Senate district comprises the 43rd, 44th, and 45th Assembly districts. The current representatives of those districts are: [6]
The 15th Senate district, in it's current borders, crosses three different congressional districts. The portion of the district in Jefferson County, and the city of Whitewater, which is partly in Walworth County, falls within Wisconsin's 5th congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Scott L. Fitzgerald; the remainder of Walworth County and the cities of Janesville and Milton and the eastern part of Rock County fall within Wisconsin's 1st congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Bryan Steil; the remainder of the district, in Dane, Green, and Rock counties, falls within Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Mark Pocan. Michael J. "Mike" Sheridan is an American politician who served as the 77th Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly. A Democrat, he represented the 44th Assembly District from 2005 to 2011. He was a member of the Committees on Rules and Assembly Organization and was elected to serve as Speaker by the Democratic caucus on November 12, 2008, following the 2008 general election in which the Democratic Party gained a majority in the Assembly.
The 2nd Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in northeast Wisconsin, the district comprises most of Shawano and Outagamie counties, as well as parts of eastern Waupaca County and western Brown County. It includes the villages of Allouez and Ashwaubenon, in the Green Bay metro area, and the city of Kaukauna, near Appleton.

The district is represented by Republican Amy Loudenbeck, since January 2013.

Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district comprises most of the eastern half of Walworth County as well as small portions of Racine and Kenosha counties. It includes the cities of Delavan and Lake Geneva, as well as the villages of East Troy and Genoa City. It also contains the Alpine Valley Resort, Big Foot Beach State Park, the Geneva National Golf Club, and Grand Geneva Resort Airport.
