Miss Grand Curaçao 2014 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Curaçao pageant, [1] held on 30 April 2014, at the World Trade Center Curaçao (WTC) in the capital city, Willemstad. [2] [3] [4] Eight candidates, who qualified for the pageant via an audition held on 15 April at the Molenplein School, [5] competed for the title, [3] and a nineteen-year-old tourism management student from the capital city, Silvienne Winklaar, was announced the winner. [6] [7]
Winklaar then represented the country at the second edition of the Miss Grand International pageant held later that year in Thailand, [8] where she was placed among the top 20 finalists of the Best National Costume contest. [9] However, Winklaar failed to qualify for the top 20 finalists in the grand final round held on 4 October. [7] [10]
The event was organized by the Señorita Curaçao organization, with financial support from a food delivery company, Curadise, and a business management and entrepreneurial private firm, HUGON Curaçao. [11]

Papiamento or Papiamentu is a Portuguese-based creole language spoken in the Dutch Caribbean. It is the most widely spoken language on the ABC islands.
An anthem without a title was the untitled anthem of the Netherlands Antilles. It was written in English by Zahira Hiliman from Sint Maarten and translated into the Papiamento language by Lucille Berry-Haseth from Curaçao. The anthem was written in two of the three official languages of the Netherlands Antilles, English and Papiamento. It was adopted in 2000. In addition to this one, many of the islands in the Netherlands Antilles had their own regional anthems.

Miss International 2017, the 57th Miss International pageant, was held on November 14, 2017 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kylie Verzosa of the Philippines crowned her successor Kevin Lilliana of Indonesia at the end of the event. It consists of the annual national pageant Miss Grand Thailand, as well as the international competition Miss Grand International, to which participating rights are licensed to organizers in other countries. The franchise has been owned and run by a Thai stock exchange-listed company with the same name, also known as MGI PCL, since its inception in 2013, with Nawat Itsaragrisil as the president.
Miss Grand South Africa is an annual female beauty pageant in South Africa founded in 2015 by Commonwealth Pageant South Africa, led by Anel de Swardt, aiming to select the country representative to compete in its parent contest Miss Grand International. The license was transferred to Zee World in 2016, and later to Maggy-Dee Productions, led by Miss Grand South Africa 2015 "Lenie Pieterse" who currently owns and runs the contest since 2017.
Miss Grand Italy or Miss Grand International Italy is a national female beauty pageant in Italy, held annually since 2019, aiming to select the country representative for Miss Grand International, which is an annual international beauty pageant promoting World Peace and against all kinds of conflicts. The pageant has been being managed by a Benevento-based event organizer MUPI SRL., chaired by Giuseppe Puzio, since its establishment.
Miss Grand Albania was an Albanian female beauty pageant founded in 2014 by a Pristina-based event organizer chaired by Sherif Pacolli, Lens Production. In 2018, the competition license was transferred to the modeling agency managed by Aleks Tanushi, Aleks Fashion Events (A.F.E.), and its headquarters was also relocated to Tirana. The pageant winner represents the country at its international parent contest, Miss Grand International.
Miss Grand Panama is a national title bestowed upon a woman chosen to represent Panama at Miss Grand International. The title was first mentioned in 2014, when a Miss Panamá Mundo 2014 finalist, Carmen De Gracia, was appointed to represent the country at the Miss Grand International in Thailand. In the first few years of participation, most of the country representatives were appointed to the position without organizing the Miss Grand National pageant. However, some of them obtained the title at the multi-title national pageants, such as Reinas y Mister de Panamá in 2017, and Señorita Panamá in 2019 and 2022.
Miss Grand Curaçao is a Curaçaoan beauty contest that chooses a representative for the Miss Grand International pageant. Silvienne Winklaar, the winner of the Miss Grand Curaçao 2014 pageant, was the first Curaçaoan to compete at Miss Grand International. Since 2019, the right to send Curaçaoan representatives to compete at Miss Grand International belonged to the Miss Curaçao organizer, Curaçao Beauty Pageant Committee, which was led by Ayshel Maria.
Miss Grand Cameroon is a beauty pageant title given to Cameroonian representatives competing at the Miss Grand International pageant. The first titleholder was Marie Cecile Olga, who was appointed to the position in 2013 by the director of Megane Fashion International and Olga's agent, Armstrong Loga. The license was then transferred to a newly established national contest headed by Marina Tchassem Fankam named Miss Prestige Cameroun and to Angèle Kossinda in 2014 and 2022, respectively.
Miss Grand International 2014 was the second edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, held on 7 October 2014 at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand. Contestants from eighty-five countries and territories competed for the title, of whom the representative of Cuba, Daryanne Lees, was announced the winner and received a reward of 40,000 USD cash. Meanwhile, the representatives of Australia, Canada, Colombia, and Ethiopia were named the runners-up.
