Visitors to the Solomon Islands must obtain a visa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries or citizens eligible for a free visitor permit on arrival.

Visa exemption

Holders of passports of the following countries and territories may enter Solomon Islands without a visa for the following period:

90 days

90 days within any 180 days

30 days

In addition, a visa free agreement with Mainland China has been signed on 7 November 2024 but is yet to be effective. [4]

Holders of passports of the following countries and territories may enter Solomon Islands with a free visitor permit on arrival for up to 3 months within any 1-year period: [5] [6]
