Huron Wind is the first commercial wind farm in Ontario. It is located in the village of Inverhuron, Ontario near Tiverton, and consists of 5 Vestas V80-1.8MW wind turbines. It is next to the Bruce Power Visitor Centre, within sight of the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station, and adjacent to the larger Enbridge Ontario Wind Farm. Groundbreaking was on July 11, 2002, and it was declared officially in service on December 1, 2002.
Restoule Provincial Park is a provincial park in Parry Sound District in Central Ontario, Canada. It is located between Restoule Lake and Stormy Lake and extends along the banks of the Restoule River to its mouth at the French River in geographic Patterson Township and geographic Hardy Township. The park is located at the western terminus of Highway 534 northwest of Restoule, Ontario. The park offers three hiking trails and is home to coyotes, wolves, bears, otters, pine martens, moose and one of Ontario's largest white-tailed deer herds. It is also home to over 90 species of birds including the peregrine falcon and the heron. Camping areas include Bells Point, Putts Point and Kettle Point. Many hike the well-marked trail to the 100-foot (30 m) fire tower overlooking Stormy Lake. It is one of two provincial parks found in the Almaguin Highlands.

Opeongo River Provincial Park is a waterway park in Nipissing District in northeastern Ontario, Canada. It incorporates those portions of the Opeongo River from its exit from Algonquin Provincial Park to the river's mouth at the Madawaska River, except for a small portion around Victoria Lake. The park has two access points: from Ontario Highway 60 west of the community of Madawaska; and the Shall Lake access point, north of Victoria Lake, in Algonquin Provincial Park.

Fitzroy Provincial Park is a provincial park on the Ottawa River in Ontario, Canada, designated as recreational-class by Ontario Parks. White pine covers much of the park. The park has century-old trees and a stand of 300-year-old bur oaks by the Carp River. There are two campgrounds within the park, both with comfort stations, a boat launch and park store. The main campgrounds have 235 campsites, 107 with electrical service, 205 with room for trailers, and a separate area with facilities for group camping and picnicking.
