Mississagi River Provincial Park is a protected area on the Mississagi River in Algoma and Sudbury Districts, Ontario, Canada. It has an Ontario Parks designation of Waterway Class. The park encompasses the river and lakes on the river from Mississagi Lake to Bark Lake, and further downstream to a point just above Ricky Island Lake, as well as portions of the upper Spanish River system.

Mississagi Provincial Park is a natural environment-class provincial park north of Elliot Lake, in Algoma District, Ontario, Canada. It lies on the Boland River, a tributary of the Little White River, which is itself a tributary of the Mississagi River. The park is accessed via Highway 639.

King's Highway 129, commonly referred to as Highway 129, is a provincially maintained highway in the Canadian province of Ontario. Located in the Algoma and Sudbury districts, the highway extends for 221 kilometres (137 mi) from a junction with Highway 17 in Thessalon to the town of Chapleau, just north of Highway 101. The route is isolated and lightly travelled throughout its length; while providing access to several remote settlements, the only sizable communities along the route are the two termini. The highway was established in 1956 along the Chapleau Road. From the early 1960s to mid-1970s, Highway 129 was designated as the Chapleau Route of the Trans-Canada Highway.

Halfway Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park astride Ontario Highway 144 in Sudbury District in northeastern Ontario, Canada. It is operated by Ontario Parks and is named for Halfway Lake, which is entirely within the park grounds. The nearest settlement on Highway 144 is Cartier, about 25 kilometres (16 mi) to the south. The park contains more than a dozen lakes, including Antrim Lake, Bailey Lake, Benny Lake, Bittern Lake, Burnt Ridge Lake, Halfway Lake, Lodge Lake, Moosemuck Lake, Otter Lake, Raven Lake, Three Island Lake, Trapper Lake, and Two Narrows Lake. There are a mix of 221 electrical and non-electrical sites in the two campgrounds, 10 interior canoe-access sites located on Antrim Lake, Bailey Lake, and Trapper Lake, plus an additional five interior hike-access sites located along the Hawk Ridge Trail.

Heathcote Lake is a lake in Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada. The lake lies in Wabakimi Provincial Park, and is part of the Flindt River system, in the Albany River drainage basin. The Flindt River is one of the lake's main inflows. Other inflows include Manion Creek. The outflow of the lake is a narrows to Heafur Lake.

Bull Lake is a lake in geographic Varley Township in Algoma District, Ontario, Canada. It is about 510 metres (1,673 ft) long and 310 metres (1,017 ft) wide, and lies at an elevation of 303 metres (994 ft). The primary inflows are unnamed creeks from Bridge Lake and West Twin Lake, and the primary outflow is Bull Creek, which flows into the Little White River, a tributary of the Mississagi River.

The Bolton River is a river near the community of Iron Bridge in Huron Shores, Algoma District, Ontario, Canada. It is 5.4 kilometres (3 mi) long and begins at Bright Lake at an elevation of 181 metres (594 ft). It takes in an unnamed creek from Dean lake at 46°15′27″N83°13′31″W at an elevation of 174 metres (571 ft), and empties into the Mississagi River at an elevation of 173 metres (568 ft).

The Rapid River is a river in Algoma District, Ontario, Canada. The river is about 15 kilometres (9 mi) long and begins at Seymour Lake at an elevation of 410 metres (1,345 ft). It travels west and takes in its left tributary the Little Rapid River at an elevation of 408 metres (1,339 ft). The river continues west over a small rapids and a waterfall before emptying into the Mississagi River at an elevation of 314 metres (1,030 ft). A road, which begins at Highway 129 north of the river's mouth, parallels the majority of the river to Seymour Lake.

Mississagi Island is an island in the North Channel of Lake Huron in Algoma District, Ontario, Canada, about 6.3 kilometres (3.9 mi) south of the mouth of the Mississagi River and 9.0 kilometres (5.6 mi) southwest of the community of Blind River. The island is about 1.4 kilometres (0.9 mi) long by 0.8 kilometres (0.5 mi) wide. A rocky ledge extending from North Point forms the north end, while Dog Point is the northeastern tip. The island is forested, and has two small ponds. There was a lighthouse on the island from 1884 until 1948 when it burned down.

It is about 1.7 kilometres (1.1 mi) long and 0.9 kilometres (0.6 mi) wide, and lies at an elevation of 411 metres (1,348 ft), 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of the community of Elliot Lake. The lake is the source of the Rapid River, which flows via the Mississagi River to Lake Huron. Surveyor Lake is a lake in Algoma District, Ontario, Canada, about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of the community of Espanola. A private road with public access runs about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) west of the lake.

The Little White River is a river in the Unorganized North Part of Algoma District in Northeastern Ontario, Canada. It is in the Great Lakes Basin and is a left tributary of the Mississagi River.
