Miss USA 1993 was the 42nd Miss USA pageant, televised live from the Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas on February 19, 1993. At the conclusion of the final competition, Kenya Moore of Michigan was crowned by outgoing titleholder Shannon Marketic of California. Moore became the second Miss USA titleholder from Michigan and the second African-American winner ever. The pageant was held in Wichita, Kansas, for the fourth and last consecutive year, and was hosted by Dick Clark for the final time, with color commentary by Leeza Gibbons and Courtney Gibbs, Miss USA 1988.

The Cleveland, Tennessee Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of two counties in southeast Tennessee – Bradley and Polk – anchored by the city of Cleveland. As of the 2020 United States census, the MSA had a population of 126,164. The MSA is also part of the Chattanooga Combined Statistical Area. The MSA was first designated in June 2003. Geographically, this metropolitan area is mostly coexistant with the Ocoee Region, a historical and cultural name that reflects the heritage of the area.

Blanche is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lincoln County, Tennessee, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Rarity Bay is a golf course community and census-designated place (CDP) in Loudon and Monroe counties, Tennessee, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. its population during the census was 885. It is in the southern part of Loudon County and the northern part of Monroe County, occupying a peninsula in Tellico Reservoir, with the Little Tennessee River to the southeast and the cove of Bat Creek to the northwest. Tennessee State Route 72 runs along the western edge of the CDP, leading south 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to U.S. Route 411 in Vonore and north 10 miles (16 km) to Loudon.

Orebank is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Sullivan County, Tennessee. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.
