Sir Athelstan Joseph Michael Eavis is an English dairy farmer and the co-creator of the Glastonbury Festival, which takes place at his farm in Pilton, Somerset.
Bonnaroo is an American annual four-day music festival developed and founded by Superfly Presents and AC Entertainment. Since its first year in 2002, it has been held at what is now Great Stage Park on a 700-acre (280 ha) farm in Manchester, Tennessee. The festival typically starts on the second Thursday in June and lasts four days. It has been held every year except in 2020, when it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in 2021 when it was canceled due to excessive rain from Hurricane Ida flooding the campground. Worthy FM is the onsite radio station of The Glastonbury Festival. It broadcasts on 87.7 MHz FM and online for one week only during the Festival, operating under a Restricted Service Licence (RSL). The station features interviews and music from across the entire festival site, promoting the festival's good causes, as well as providing important information on traffic congestion, camping availability and any lineup changes. The station caters for members of the public as they arrive at, stay at and leave the festival site, as well as the many crew members on site, and those who listening at home who cannot attend the festival that year.

William Harkin was a British architect and stage designer. Born in Liverpool he studied art and architecture there before embarking on a career in stage design. In 1970 he chanced upon Andrew Kerr while walking on Glastonbury Tor. The pair decided to hold a music festival and secured the agreement of Michael Eavis to hold the 1971 Glastonbury Fair, which later became the Glastonbury Festival. Harkin was responsible for designing the first Pyramid Stage, which became emblematic of the festival. Afterwards he carried out work for the Eden Project and taught at the Wimbledon College of Art.
