The 15th Senate district of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin Senate. [1] Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises most of Rock County and parts of northwest Walworth County and southern Jefferson County. It includes the cities of Janesville, Beloit, Edgerton, Evansville, Milton, and Whitewater. [2]
Mark Spreitzer is the senator representing the 15th district since January 2023. He previously served in the State Assembly, representing the 45th Assembly district from 2015 to 2023. [3]
Each Wisconsin State Senate district is composed of three Wisconsin State Assembly districts. The 15th Senate district comprises the 43rd, 44th, and 45th Assembly districts. The current representatives of those districts are: [4]
The 15th Senate district, in its current borders, crosses three different congressional districts. The portion of the district in Jefferson County falls within Wisconsin's 5th congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Scott L. Fitzgerald; the portion in Walworth County and the cities of Janesville and Milton and the eastern part of Rock County fall within Wisconsin's 1st congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Bryan Steil; the remainder of the district, in the western half of Rock county, falls within Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Mark Pocan. Rock County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 163,687. Its county seat is Janesville. Rock County comprises the Janesville-Beloit, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area and is included in the Madison-Janesville-Beloit, WI Combined Statistical Area.
Beloit is a city in Rock County, Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 36,657 people. Beloit is a principal city of the Janesville–Beloit metropolitan statistical area and is included in the Madison–Janesville–Beloit combined statistical area.

Located in south-central Wisconsin, the district comprises much of eastern Dane County, western Jefferson County, and part of southwest Dodge County. Mark Spreitzer is an American politician from Beloit, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Senate, representing Wisconsin's 15th Senate district since January 2023. Spreitzer served four terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly, from 2015 to 2023, and before that was a member of the Beloit City Council.
The 2018 United States House of Representatives elections in Wisconsin were held on November 6, 2018, to elect the eight U.S. representatives from the state of Wisconsin, one from each of the state's eight congressional districts. Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises areas of central Rock County, including most of the city of Janesville and the neighboring village of Footville. It contains the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater at Rock County campus, the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport, and the main campus of Blackhawk Technical College. The district is represented by Democrat Sue Conley, since January 2021.
The 45th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises most of southern and eastern Rock County. It includes the cities of Beloit and Evansville, and the village of Orfordville. The district also contains Beloit College. The district is represented by Democrat Clinton Anderson, since January 2023.
The 2022 Wisconsin Senate elections were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. 17 of the 33 seats in the Wisconsin State Senate were up for election—the odd-numbered districts. This was the first election to take place after redistricting following the 2020 United States census. This was the only election to take place under the redistricting plan set out in 2022. Before the election, 21 Senate seats were held by Republicans, and 12 seats were held by Democrats. 11 Republican seats and six Democratic seats were up in this election. The primary election took place on August 9, 2022.
Clinton M. Anderson is an American politician from Beloit, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 45th Assembly district since January 2023. He is also currently a member of the Beloit city council.
