The Jakarta Metropolitan Area or Greater Jakarta, known locally as Jabodetabekpunjur is the most populous megapolitan area in Indonesia. It includes the national capital as well as five satellite cities and three complete regencies. The original term "Jabotabek" dated from the late 1970s and was revised to "Jabodetabek" in 1999 when "De" was inserted into the name following its formation. The term "Jabodetabekjur" or "Jabodetabekpunjur" was legalised on the Presidential Regulation Number 54 of 2008, and then the name "Jabodetabekpunjur" is officially used.

Dumai, is a coastal city in Riau Province on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia, about 188 km from Pekanbaru, the provincial capital. The city has an area of 2,065.59 km2 and had 338,064 inhabitants at the mid 2023 official estimate. Dumai has a domestic airport, Pinang Kampai Airport. The city is an important transport and trade centre, both regionally and internationally, especially for traffic to and from Malaysia. The region is rich in oil.

The Dominican Republic, a country in the Caribbean, boasts one of the region's most dynamic economies. With a GDP of approximately 127.356 billion USD in 2024, it stands out as one of the largest economies in the Caribbean. The GDP per capita, a measure reflecting the average economic output per person, is around US$11,774, highlighting the country's relative economic development compared to its Caribbean neighbors.
