The Rajputana Agency was a political office of the British Indian Empire dealing with a collection of native states in Rajputana, under the political charge of an Agent reporting directly to the Governor-General of India and residing at Mount Abu in the Aravalli Range. The total area of the states falling within the Rajputana Agency was 127,541 square miles (330,330 km2), with eighteen states and two estates or chiefships.

Sikar is a city and municipal council in the Sikar district of the state of Rajasthan in India. It is the administrative headquarters of the Sikar district. Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) is a public transport company which provides bus services in the Indian state Rajasthan. It is headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The corporation was established by Government of Rajasthan on 1 October 1964 under the Road Transport Act 1950. RSRTC operates ordinary, express and deluxe services. It has 4100 buses in its fleet, 52 depots across Rajasthan and 3 depots outside the state i.e. Indore, Ahmedabad and Delhi. There are around 2230 routes covered which amount to 5437.74 lakh km per year. It carries around 9 lakh passengers per day to their destinations within and outside the state. RSRTC operates services in Rajasthan and adjoining states of Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Jammu Kashmir and Chandigarh. Ticket reservation is available at all bus stations free of charge. Online ticket facility is available for Air conditioned, Deluxe, Semi-deluxe and express buses through Kiosks in Rajasthan as well as through RSRTC mobile application.

Damodar Sharma is an engineer, educator, founder Vice-Chancellor of the Rajasthan Technical University and winner of the Silver Elephant award of the Bharat Scouts and Guides. He received a Bachelor in Civil Engineering (B.E.) from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur (1964), a Masters in Technology with specialization in geotechnical engineering from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur (1970) and received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in 1986.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Bikaner Technical University</span>

Bikaner Technical University (BTU) is a technical state university located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. BTU is based in the campus of the College of Engineering & Technology, Bikaner in Karni Industrial Area, Bikaner, approximately 400 kilometres (250 mi) from New Delhi. It was established in 2017 with jurisdiction over technical institutes in Bikaner division, Jodhpur division, Nagaur district in Ajmer division and districts Alwar, Sikar and Jhunjhunu in Jaipur division, affiliating 69 engineering and management colleges which were formerly affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University.

The first case of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Indian state of Rajasthan was reported on 2 March 2020 in Jaipur. The Rajasthan Health Department has confirmed a total of 29,835 cases, including 563 deaths and 21866 recoveries as of 20 July 2020. All districts in the state have reported confirmed cases of which, Jaipur is the worst-affected.
