The International Tech Park Chennai, Taramani or ITPC (as it is popularly known) is an hi-tech park in Taramani, Chennai.
Located in Chennai's IT Corridor, it spans 15 acres, offering approximately 2 million sq ft of office space. Over 40 IT/ITES companies are operating out of the park. It has received various certifications including: PEER – Gold certification by US Green Building Council
Pinnacle
This is the first phase of ITPC with a super build up area of about 540,000 sq ft (50,000 m2). [1] [2]
Crest
This is the second phase of ITPC with a super build up area of about 730,000 sq ft (68,000 m2).
Zenith
This is the third phase of ITPC with a super build up area of about 742,000 sq ft (68,900 m2).
In September 2011, ITPC's first phase building, the Pinnacle, earned the LEED Silver certification in the category "Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance (EB:O&M), version 2009 standard". [3] This was the first multi-tenanted building in India to be awarded the LEED Silver certification. [4]
In October 2012, ITPC was awarded the LEED Gold certification for Phase II, the Crest building, in the same category as the Phase I building. The certification was awarded in the category of Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance, version 2009 standard. It is the first multi-tenanted building in India to be certified LEED Gold under the new version. The building is the second of the three buildings at the tech park and offers 730,000 sq ft of office space. The building has made several modifications and retro-fits to conserve energy and water and reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions. [3] [4]
In 2018 it received the PEEER Gold certification. [5] the following year [6] it received the Guinness record certification for successfully conducting ‘Preserve and Conserve Natural Resources program.’ [7]
CyberVale -- located within Mahindra World City -- is a one hour drive from Chennai city. The park is located on GST road, which is in close proximity to manufacturing hubs such as Oragadam and Sriperumbadur.

The ITC Grand Chola is a 5-star luxury hotel in Chennai, India. It is located in Guindy, opposite SPIC building and along the same row of buildings as Ashok Leyland Towers. The building, designed by Singapore-based SRSS Architects, is of mixed-use development with three separate wings and is themed after traditional Dravidian architecture of the Chola dynasty. The hotel is the ninth hotel in The Luxury Collection brand.
Chennai Trade Centre is a permanent exhibition complex in Nandambakkam, Chennai, hosting several trade fairs and conventions round the year. It is the first fair infrastructure that has been developed by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO)—the premier trade promotion agency of the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry—outside Delhi. A joint initiative of the ITPO and the Tamil Nadu Trade Promotion Organisation, which hold 51 and 49 percent stakes, respectively, the Trade Centre was designed by C R Narayan Rao, and was commissioned in January 2001, while the convention centre was commissioned on 1 November 2004. The exhibition hall was constructed at an estimated cost of ₹ 23 crore and the convention centre at a cost of ₹ 22 crore. Together, these centres cover 10,560 sq m and are fully booked for 75 days in a year. Built over an area of 25.48 acres, the centre comprises four modules of 4,400 m2 each of exhibition halls and support services to be built in a phased manner. In the first phase, two air-conditioned halls without pillars or columns encompassing areas of 5,000 m2 and 1,850 m2 were constructed. There are three halls, viz, Hall No. 1 (4,400 m2), Hall No. 2 (1,760 m2) and Hall No. 3 (4,400 m2). The halls feature a height of 6 m to display all merchandise including machinery. These have been supplemented recently with a modern, fully air-conditioned convention centre. All the halls are inter-linked, and Hall No. 3 is connected with the convention centre. The convention centre can accommodate 2,000 people with a provision for dividing the hall into two equal parts and has an audiovisual facility suitable for multi-purpose use such as conferences, conventions, cultural shows, and so forth. The Chennai Trade Centre is managed by Tamil Nadu Trade Promotion Organisation (TNTPO), a joint venture of ITPO and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO).
Hyatt Regency Chennai is an 18-storey five-star luxury hotel located on Anna Salai at Teynampet in Chennai, India. Designed in 1986, the construction of the hotel started in the 1990s. However, the completion was delayed for nearly two decades and the hotel was opened on 10 August 2011 at a cost of ₹5.50 billion. Built on 18,510 square metres (199,200 sq ft) of land, it is the first Hyatt hotel in South India and has 327 rooms.

The Tidel Park in Chennai was billed as Asia's largest IT park when it was built. Major software companies have their offices set up here, with some of them making Chennai their largest base. Chennai is the largest hub for e-publishing, as there are 67 e-publishing units registered with the STPI and many Rs.8300-Cr data centers, digital hubs are in the process of development. A major reason for the growth of the Software industry are the top engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, of which Chennai is a major contributor, have been a major recruiting hub for the IT firms. According to estimates, these engineering colleges and universities consistently generate about 50 per cent of the human resource requirements for the IT and ITES industry was being sourced from the state, particularly from Chennai. The total employment in the Tamil Nadu’s technology sector crossed the one million mark in the quarter ended June 2022.
Telus Sky, is a 59-storey, 222.3 m (729 ft) mixed-use skyscraper in downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
