Madhavaram Junction, also known as Madhavaram Bypass, is an important junction in the city of Chennai, India. It is located in Madhavaram to the north of Maduravoyal Junction at the intersection of Chennai Bypass and NH 5. It leads to Redhills to the West, Manali to the North, Moolakadai to the East and Anna Nagar to the South.

Chennai Bypass Road

The Chennai Bypass Road is a full-access controlled expressway that interconnects four radial Indian National Highways around Chennai, India covering a distance of 32 km (20 mi) from Perungalathur on NH45 to puzhal on NH 5 via Maduravoyal at a cost of 4.05 billion. Constructed as part of the National Highway Development Project to decongest the city of transiting vehicles, the expressway interconnects NH45, NH4, NH205 and NH5. This expressway now forms a part of the circular transportation corridor.

Chennai BRTS was a bus rapid transit system taken up as an integrated part of Circular Corridor Project in India. Beginning at Adyar, the route will cover Saidapet, Jafferkanpet, Ramavaram, Puzhal, Manali, Chennai Central Railway Station, Lighthouse and will return to Adyar. The corridor will cover a distance of 70.3 kilometres (43.7 mi). The route of the elevated BRTS corridor was planned to run along the banks of Adyar river and Buckingham canal. The project was expected to be completed by 2013.
