The 2026Oklahoma State Auditor election was scheduled to take place on November 3, 2026, to elect the Oklahoma State Auditor. [1] Incumbent Republican State Auditor Cindy Byrd was term-limited and could not seek re-election to a third term. [2] Republican Melissa Capps filed unopposed and was elected by default. [3] No elections are held when candidates file unopposed in Oklahoma. [4]
