The 2026 Minnesota Secretary of State election will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect the Minnesota Secretary of State. Incumbent Steve Simon is eligible to run for re-election, but has not yet stated if he will do so. [1] Former Republican senator Tad Jude announced his candidacy on September 12, 2025. [2]
