The 2026 Ohio Secretary of State election is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2026, to elect the Secretary of State of Ohio. Incumbent Republican Secretary of State Frank LaRose is term-limited and ineligible to run for re-election.

A Republican, he represented the 6th district in the Ohio State Senate from 2021 to 2024, covering the northern, eastern, and southern of Montgomery County. Prior to this, he served three terms in the Ohio House of Representatives as representative from the 42nd district.
Theresa Gavarone is an American attorney, politician, and businesswoman serving as a member of the Ohio Senate for the 2nd district. A Republican, Gavarone was first appointed to the Senate in 2019 after serving in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2016 to 2019.
