The 2026 Vermont lieutenant gubernatorial election will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect the Lieutenant Governor of Vermont. The primary election will be held on August 11. One-term incumbent Republican lieutenant governor John Rodgers is running for re-election. [1]
Despite stating that he is running for re-election, it has been speculated that Rodgers may run for governor if Phil Scott decides not to run for re-election. [2]
