The 2026 North Carolina House of Representatives election will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect all 120 members to North Carolina's House of Representatives. Representatives will serve two-year terms. The election will coincide with elections for other offices, including for the U.S Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, and State Senate. [1] Primary elections will be held on March 3. [2]

In 2024, Democrats broke the Republican's veto-proof super majority in newly drawn districts by one seat. [3] They also won the popular vote, getting 51% of the vote. Despite this however, Democrats only won 49 seats.
