The 2026 Alabama State Board of Education election will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect five members to the Alabama State Board of Education. Primary elections will be held on May 19.
As the Governor of Alabama serves as a voting member of the Board of Education, the concurrent gubernatorial election will be one of the five positions up for election. Tommy Tuberville is seen as the frontrunner for the position. [3]
