The 2026 California State Treasurer election will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect the state treasurer of California. Incumbent Democratic treasurer Fiona Ma is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term in office; she is instead running for lieutenant governor. Candidates must declare by March 6, with primaries to be held on June 2. [1]
