Hebbal is an locality in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, which was once indicative of the north endpoint of the city. Though originally famous for Hebbal Lake, it is now better known for the serpentine maze of flyovers that network the Outer Ring Road and Airport Road on NH 44. The flyover spans a length of 5.23 kilometres (3.2 mi) over all the loops combined. The flyover was built by Gammon India. The lake area in Hebbal is well-known for its picnic spots, a well-maintained park, boating facilities and for the bird watching opportunities.

Anna Flyover

Anna Flyover, also known as Gemini Flyover, is a dual-armed grade separator in the central business district of Chennai, India. Built in 1973 and dubbed one of the top-rated flyovers in the country, it is Asia's First Grade Separator, the first flyover in Chennai and the third Flyover in India, after the ones at Kemps Corner and Marine Drive in Mumbai. It was the longest flyover in the country when it was built. Its main purpose is to allow traffic movement on Mount Road—now renamed Anna Salai—near Nungambakkam High Road to continue unhindered by the cross traffic. The presence of the Gemini Studios, which was demolished later, resulted in the flyover coming to be known as Gemini Flyover and the area being referred to as the Gemini Circle.

The Eastern Freeway, is a controlled-access highway, in Mumbai, that connects P D'Mello Road in South Mumbai to the Eastern Express Highway (EEH) at Chembur. It is 16.8 km (10.4 mi) long and its estimated cost is 1,436 crore (US$190 million). The Eastern Freeway was built by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and funded by the Central Government through the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM). Construction was contracted to Simplex Infrastructure Ltd. A 13.59 km stretch of the freeway, comprising two of three segments with one of the twin tunnels, from Orange Gate on P D'Mello Road up to Panjarpol, near RK Studios in Chembur, was opened to the public on 14 June 2013. The second tunnel was opened on 12 April 2014. The third and final segment from Panjarpol to Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road (GMLR) was opened on 16 June 2014.

N40 road (Ireland)

The N40 road is a national primary road in Cork City, Ireland, which runs through Cork City forming an orbital and distributor route around the south side of the inner city, linking the N22 at Ballincollig to the N25 at the Dunkettle Interchange. The present N40 was created on 23 February 2012 via statutory instrument. The newly designated N40 was formed from parts of both the N22 and N25. It is intended that once the Cork North Ring Road is completed, that the N40 will comprise a complete orbital route of the inner city.

Chowk Kumharanwala Level II Flyover also called Jinnah Chowk Flyover is located in Multan city of Pakistan, at an intersection itself called as Chowk Kumharanwala, Jinnah Chowk or Qadaffi Chowk. Foundation stone was put by former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and ground breaking of level I flyover was also done by Yousaf Raza Gillani on 26 April 2011. It was constructed as part of Inner Ring Road Multan project.

Pul Moj Darya Flyover پل موج دریا فلائی اوور is located in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan. Also called Kalma Chowk Flyover. It is named on a Sufi Saint of Multan. Pul Moj Darya literally means Bridge over River Current. A canal from River Chenab used to flow at this area. This flyover joins the MDA Road with LMQ Road. It is two lane two way flyover. It is part of Inner Ring Road Project of Multan.

Kachehri Chowk Chungi No 7 & 8 Flyover is located in Multan, Pakistan. First constructed was only Kachehri Chowk Flyover. During the project of Inner Ring Road Multan, this flyover was lengthened to cover Chungi No 7 and Chungi No 8 and an extra ramp for Gulgasht Colony was constructed, It is a four lane-flyover with partitions.

Chennai is home to the second largest vehicular population in India, behind New Delhi. The total road network in the city's metropolitan area is 2,780 km. With Chennai's vehicular population having experienced a surge in the late 1990s, several flyovers were built to reduce the traffic congestion in the city. Of about 15,600 million invested by the state government between 2005 and 2014, Chennai cornered a major chunk of the investment. As of 2014, there were 22 functional flyovers in the city and about 30 bridges, catering to the city's vehicular population of about 3.9 million, including about 600,000 cars. In addition, more than 36 flyovers are in the pipeline.
