Agortime-Kpetoe (also known simply as Kpetoe) is a small town and is the capital of Adaklu-Anyigbe District, a district in the Volta Region of Ghana. It is currently in the Agortime-Ziope District and the town is known for its cross-border trades and kente culture. [1] [2]

Infrastructure

The town has a bridge called the Kpetoe Bridge and a river called River Tordze which gets its source from Hanyigbatodzi in Togo. [3]

The town has a market called the Kpetoe Market. [1] [2]

History

In 2017, the town had a sub-chief called Nene Akoto-Sai VII. [4]

The Agortime Traditional Area had a Paramount Chief by name Nene Nuer Keteku who reigned for over 50 years. [5]

In 2022, the Paramount Chief of Agortime-Kpetoe was Nene Nuer Keteku IV. [2] [6]

Kpando Senior High School formerly known as Kpando Secondary School is a second cycle Co-Ed institution in the Kpando Municipal District of the Volta Region of Ghana. One of the three second cycle schools in the Kpando township and arguably the best Senior High School in the Kpando Municipality as well as in the Volta Region of Ghana.

The R10 Regional Highway is a highway in the Volta Region of Ghana. It begins at Tokor, on the northern edge of Denu and runs north through Dzodze, Agotime-Ziope and Agortime-Kpetoe ending at the regional capital of Ho. It is also known as the Ho - Denu road. It is an important link from Ho, the capital of the Volta Region which borders Togo and Denu near Aflao which is the main border crossing in the south between Ghana and Togo. The total length is about ninety-nine (99) kilometres.

Fumbisi is a town in the Builsa South District in the Upper East Region of Ghana. The town is known for rice production. In 2019, the Paramount Chief of Fumbisi was Nab Clement Anyatuik Akanko II.
