Manapouri is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia. [2] In the 2016 census Manapouri had a population of 52 people. [1]

History

Manipouri State School opened circa 1923. Around 1930, the spelling was changed to Manapouri State School. It closed circa 1952. [3] The school was on a 2-acre (0.81 ha) site at 401 Carey Road ( 27°50′50″S152°00′11″E / 27.84724°S 152.00308°E / -27.84724; 152.00308 (Manapouri State School (former)) ). [4]

In the 2016 census Manapouri had a population of 52 people. [1]
