Yunyoo is the capital of the Yunyoo-Nasuan District in the North East Region of Ghana. The district was one of the new ones inaugurated on 15 March 2018 in Ghana. [1]
Yunyoo is linked by a road entering it from Bunkpurugu in the east and running westwards and connecting to the N2 highway at its end. It is at an elevation of 252 metres. The nearest airport in Ghana is the Tamale Airport in the capital of the Northern Region. [2]
Nakpanduri is located to the north west, Nasuan to the west and Bunkpurugu to the east.

Ho is the capital city of the Ho Municipal District and the Volta Region of Ghana. The city lies between Mount Adaklu and Mount Galenukui or Togo Atakora Range, and is home to the Volta Regional Museum, a cathedral, and a prison. The city is the capital of unrecognised Western Togoland. It was formerly the administrative capital of British Togoland now part of the Volta Region. The population of Ho Municipality according to the 2010 Population and Housing Census is 177,281 representing 8.4 percent of the region's total population. Females constitute 52.7 percent and males represent 47.3 percent. The population in Ho grew up to 180,420 National Population Census. About 62 percent of the population resides in urban localities. The Municipality shares boundaries with Adaklu and Agotime-Ziope Districts to the South, Ho West District to the North and West and the Republic of Togo to the East. Its total land area is 2,361 square kilometers thus representing 11.5 percent of the region's total land area.

Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988 when it was known as East Mamprusi District, which was created from the former Mamprusi District Council, until the eastern part of the district was split off by a decree of president John Agyekum Kufuor on 19 August 2004 to create Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo District; thus the remaining part has been retained as East Mamprusi District. However on 15 March 2018, it was elevated to municipal district assembly status to become East Mamprusi Municipal District. Adansi Asokwa is the capital of the Adansi Asokwa District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The district itself was created out of the Adansi North District by Legislative Instrument in 2018. It is located in the southern half of the region on the N8 highway running from Kumasi, capital of the region to Yamoransa near Cape Coast, capital of the Central Region. It is also the main town in the Asokwa Area Council, one of four in the district.
