Pennsylvania weighed in for this election as 8.51% more Republican than the nation-at-large. This was the last time Pennsylvania voted to the right of the national environment until 2016, and the last time it was the most Republican leaning of the three Rust Belt swing states (including Michigan and Wisconsin) until 2024. It is also the last time Pennsylvania voted more Republican than Ohio.
