Christian Brothers' College, Boksburg is a Roman Catholic private school located in the town of Boksburg (Ekurhuleni) in Gauteng, South Africa. The school accommodates children from grade 000 to grade 12. The school is made up of the pre-grade, primary and high school.
The school was founded in 1935 on the same site as the school is located today. The original buildings from the foundation of the school remain today. The school was run by Christian Brothers who taught the pupils of the school but in recent years the brothers have been replaced by lay teachers, i.e. teachers who are not members of a religious order. The school is deeply influenced by the ideals of Edmund Ignatius Rice, the founder of the Christian Brothers.

As a school which was started by the SA Christian Brothers almost 80 years ago in the spirit of Edmund Rice, founder of the Christian Brothers’ Schools (1803) the school holds to the tenets upon which the first Christian Brothers’ school was founded. This is celebrated each day in all aspects of college life, and also through regular liturgies, masses as well as outreach and advocacy experiences.

With a large part of the ‘heart-beat’ of the college being focussed on service and community, the need to serve a cause and the importance of caring for others finds tangible expression within the Edmund Rice Society (ERS). The staff and boys are constantly involved in projects and initiatives within the community with an emphasis on impacting social injustices.
The college offers summer and winter sports, including cricket, hockey, rugby, swimming, athletics, tennis, squash, golf, soccer and basketball

St Joseph's College Melbourne was a Roman Catholic secondary college which opened early in 1903 and closed at the end of 2010. It was part of the Association of Edmund Rice schools, founded and run in the tradition of the Christian Brothers. Between the years 2000 and 2009 it formally operated two campuses, a senior campus located in Queensberry Street, North Melbourne, Victoria and a junior campus, in Brearley Parade, Pascoe Vale, Victoria. The Edmund Rice Schools Trust (ERST) is a Catholic school network with responsibility for almost 100 schools in the Republic of Ireland. The trust is named after Edmund Ignatius Rice the founder of the Irish Christian Brothers who originally established and maintained the schools. Today, the Trust supports those schools in line with the tenets of the Edmund Rice Schools Trust Charter. Similar trusts have been established in England, Northern Ireland and elsewhere.
Boksburg High School is a public high school in Boksburg, a suburb of Ekurhuleni, South Africa. The school was founded in 1920 as the Rand East Training and Preparatory College under its first Principal, Mr Charter. In 1925, the school changed its name to Boksburg High School. Over the years, substantial additions to the campus grounds were made such the absorption of Leeuwpoort Primary School. The school has had seven Principals over its nearly 100 years history and its enrollment rate expanded from the first class of the REPTC which consisted of 13 students, to approximately 1600 students as of 2019, acceptance to which being highly sought after with the school often receiving more applications for admission than places available. The school is among the top performing schools in its district.
