Glen Austin is a suburb of Midrand, South Africa. It is located in Region A of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. The stands within Glen Austin are all classed as Agricultural Holdings, with none being smaller than 8500 square meters.

History

In the 19th century a Voortrekker named Daniel Erasmus pegged out the area known today as Midrand as his land. On his death, Daniel's granddaughter, Anne Erasmus, as part of her inheritance, was willed land which included the Glen Austin area. In 1920 Anne married Mr Eustace Gain Austin and from that union came the name Glen Austin. [2]

Glen Summit Springs is a private community located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, United States, on the northern slope of the eastern end of Nescopeck Mountain, where it sweeps to the north to meet the southward bend of Penobscot Mountain. The area has long been known regionally for its mountain springs and is now protected by over 450 acres (180 ha) of pristine, uncultivated forest made up of privately owned and conservation lands. Zwartkop is a residential suburb next to Centurion lake in Centurion, South Africa. Historically the suburb was part of the town of Centurion. The suburb is located on a cluster of hills south-west of the Centurion lake. The suburb contains multiple security areas which have been closed off and is monitored by independent security companies. All residential properties in Zwartkop remains free-standing houses with the exception of Zwartkop Extension 7 which has multiple apartments and town-house complexes.

Blackland is a historically black neighborhood on the east side of Austin, Texas, located north of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, south of Manor Road, east of I-35, and west of Chestnut Street. The neighborhood was originally known as Blacklands and was settled by Swedish immigrants, but evolved into a predominantly African-American neighborhood following the 1928 Austin city plan, which called for the relocation of non-white residents to the east side of the city. Up until the 1980s, the neighborhood was targeted for demolition to make way for an expansion of the University of Texas campus. In 1983, the Blackland Community Development Corporation was formed to build, purchase and maintain housing for low-income families and special populations.

The M38 is a short metropolitan route in Johannesburg, South Africa. The entire route is in the Johannesburg South area, connecting Southgate with Tulisa Park via Ridgeway. It is parallel to the Johannesburg Southern Bypass for its entire route.

Olifantsfontein, also known as Clayville, is a small town on the East Rand in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. It is located at the north-western corner of the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, just north of the Thembisa township. As of the 2011 Census, the town has a population of 14,526 people.
