The University of Limerick (UL) is a public research university institution in Limerick, Ireland. Founded in 1972 as the National Institute for Higher Education, Limerick, it became a university in 1989 in accordance with the University of Limerick Act 1989. It was the first university established since Irish independence in 1922, followed by the establishment of Dublin City University later the same day.

Hurler is a wooden roller coaster located at Carowinds amusement park in Charlotte, North Carolina. A second installation of the ride was also built at Kings Dominion, and both locations opened to the public in 1994. Hurler at Kings Dominion was closed following the 2015 season. It was renovated by Rocky Mountain Construction and re-emerged as a steel coaster in 2018 called Twisted Timbers.

It was the golden jubilee year of the Gaelic Athletic Association and the 47th All-Ireland final. It was contested by Limerick and Dublin. The match ended in a 2-7 to 3-4 draw. The replay took place at the same venue four weeks later on 30 September 1934. On that occasion the Leinster champions lost to their Munster opponents on a score line of 5-2 to 2-6.

Twisted Timbers is a steel roller coaster located at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia. It originally opened as a wooden coaster named Hurler in 1994, designed and manufactured by International Coasters, Inc., with a name and layout that matched an identical installation at Carowinds. The ride closed for extensive maintenance in 2015 according to the park, which later teased in 2016 that Hurler was being replaced.
Kent Park is a GAA stadium in County Sligo in Ireland. It is the home of St Mary's. Kent Park is located in Ballydoogan, west of the coastal seaport of Sligo. It has hosted National Hurling League matches.
