This is a list of places in the continent of Asia which have standing links to local communities in other countries. In most cases, the association, especially when formalised by local government, is known as "town twinning" (usually in Europe) or "sister cities" (usually in the rest of the world), and while most of the places included are towns, the list also includes villages, cities, districts, and counties with similar links.
Antakya and Erzin, par of theHatay Province (Liwa' Iskenderun in arabic) was part of Syria, then, Ottoman Syria, later on, the French mandate of Syria, but became part of Turkey since its annexation in 1939. The French encouraged the annexation, hoping it would act as an incentive to Turkey to reject an alliance with Nazi Germany. The Hatay province is part of historic Syria.

The Golan Heights is part of Syria, occupied by Zionist Israel since 1967 in the context of the Six-Day war. It is internationally recognised as a part of Syria, unlike the Hatay province which is claimed solely by the Syrian government and Arab nationalists.

Bishkek, formerly known as Pishpek and Frunze, is the capital and largest city of Kyrgyzstan. Bishkek is also the administrative centre of the Chüy Region. Bishkek is situated near the border with Kazakhstan and has a population of 1,074,075, as of 2021. Bishkek is the primate city of Kyrgyzstan—it is the sole metropolis in the country, and about 17% of all inhabitants of the country live in Bishkek's metropolitan area.
