The WDSF World Formation Latin Championship is the main annual formation International Latin dancesport championship worldwide.
The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), formerly the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF), is the international governing body of DanceSport and Wheelchair DanceSport, as recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
Dancesport is competitive ballroom dancing, as contrasted to social or exhibition dancing. In the case of wheelchair dancesport, at least one of the dancers is in a wheelchair.

Algirdas Šocikas was a Lithuanian amateur heavyweight boxer who won the European title in 1953 and 1955 and finished fifth at the 1952 Olympics. He won six Soviet, six Lithuanian and three Baltic championships. After retiring in 1957 he worked as a boxing coach in Kaunas and raised the Olympic medalists Ričardas Tamulis and Jonas Čepulis, among others. He died in Kaunas, aged 84, and was buried in Petrašiūnai Cemetery.
