Dilshad Hussain is an Indian artisan and craftsman from Uttar Pradesh. [1] [2] He won the Padma Shri in 2023. In August 2022, during G-7 Summit, Narendra Modi gifted an Urn made by Hussain to the Chancellor of Germany. [3] [4] [5]

Early life

Dilshad Hussain was born in Moradabad and lives at Kaith Wali Masjid Gali with his sons and daughters-in-law. Two of his daughters-in-law have won State Awards by the hands of Governor of Uttar Pradesh. [6]

Purvanchal Expressway is a 340.8 km long, 6-lane wide access-controlled expressway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The expressway connects Chand Saray village near Gosainganj in Lucknow district with Haydaria village on NH-31 in Ghazipur district. It is developed by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA). The Purvanchal Expressway has a 3.2 km long airstrip at Akhalkiri Karwat village near Kurebhar in Sultanpur district for emergency landing of aircraft. The construction work was started by the UPEIDA on 10 October 2018 and was inaugurated and opened to the public on 16 November 2021.

Ravi Kant is a professor of Surgery at Sharda University, who was the director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh from 2017 to 2021 and the Vice Chancellor of King George's Medical University from 2014 to 2017. Earlier he was head of surgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Bhopal and faculty at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi. The Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri in 2016.

Damodar Ganesh Bapat was an Indian social worker known for his service to the leprosy patients at Bhartiya Kushta Nivarak Sangh (BKNS) in Janjgir–Champa district, Chhattisgarh, India. Sangeet Natak Academy award for 2020. His Daya Drishti Charitable Trust helps children born with thalassemia avail regular and lifesaving transfusions. His second book 'Next Patient, Please' was released on 26 March 2022. He was featured among top 75 personalities of Rohilkhand region of Uttar Pradesh by Amar Ujala. The list was published on the 75th foundation day of the newspaper.

Ramyatna Shukla, also written Ram Yatna Shukla (1932−2022) was an Indian scholar and linguist of the Sanskrit Language from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and contributed to conserving ancient and Sanskrit texts. He was the President of Kashi Vidvat Parishad, a body of scholars and saints in India. He was also known as Abhinav Panini, named after Sanskrit philologist and grammarian Pāṇini. He ran a program to connect the new generation with Sanskrit by providing free education.

Uma Shankar Pandey is an Indian social worker who is known for his work and contributions to groundwater conservation. He launched the 'Khet mein Med, Med Par Ped ' campaign in 2005, to conserve water by constructing bunds in the fields. He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Indian government in 2023 for his contributions to social work.
