Tishomingo County is a county located in the northeastern corner of the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of the 2020 census, the population was 18,850. Its county seat is Iuka.

The Pearl River is a river in the U.S. states of Mississippi and Louisiana. It forms in Neshoba County, Mississippi from the confluence of Nanih Waiya and Tallahaga creeks, and has a meander length of 444 miles (715 km). The lower part of the river forms part of the boundary between Mississippi and Louisiana.
Mississippi Highway 12 is a state highway in northern Mississippi that runs 198.7 miles (319.8 km) west–east from MS 1 west of Hollandale at the Mississippi River to State Route 18 at the Alabama state line northeast of Columbus. MS 12 traverses three major regions of the state, the Mississippi Delta, the North Central Hills, and the Golden Triangle.
Tishomingo State Park is a public recreation area located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Tishomingo County, some 45 miles (72 km) northeast of Tupelo, Mississippi. The major feature of the park is Bear Creek Canyon and its generous sandstone outcroppings. Activities in the park include canoeing, rock climbing, fishing, and hiking. The park sits at Milepost 304 of Natchez Trace Parkway, a scenic road operated by the National Park Service that runs directly through the park.
Legion State Park is public recreation area located on the north edge of the city of Louisville, Mississippi, and adjacent to Tombigbee National Forest. As Legion State Park Historic District, the state park entered the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. It is managed by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
Tombigbee State Park is a public recreation area located off Mississippi Highway 6 five miles (8.0 km) east of Tupelo, Mississippi. The state park surrounds 90-acre (36 ha) Lake Lee and is named for the nearby Tombigbee River.
Mississippi Highway 7 runs generally north–south from the Tennessee state line in Benton County to Belzoni, Mississippi. It travels approximately 168 miles (270 km), serving Humphreys, Leflore, Carroll, Grenada, Yalobusha, Lafayette, Marshall, and Benton counties while serving several points of interest, including Florewood River Plantation State Park, the University of Mississippi, and Wall Doxey State Park. MS 7 runs nearly parallel to the rarely used Mississippi Central Railroad.
Wall Doxey State Park is a public recreation area located off Mississippi Highway 7, seven miles (11 km) south of Holly Springs, Mississippi. The state park is centered on 60-acre (24 ha) Spring Lake. It is named for white Democrat politician Wall Doxey.
Florewood State Park, also known as Florewood River Plantation State Park, is a public recreation area in the U.S. state of Mississippi, operated by the Leflore County Board of Supervisors. The state park is located off U.S. Highway 82 on the western edge of Greenwood. It is only open on Saturdays for fishing.
Percy Quin State Park is a public recreation area located off Interstate 55, approximately 7 miles (11 km) southwest of McComb, Mississippi. The state park surrounds 490-acre (200 ha) Lake Tangipahoa, an impoundment of the Tangipahoa River.
Leroy Percy State Park is a public recreation area located off Mississippi Highway 12, five miles (8.0 km) west of Hollandale, Mississippi. The state park's impressive natural beauty features cypress trees, artesian springs, and ancient oaks with Spanish moss.
Holmes County State Park is a public recreation area in the U.S. state of Mississippi located off U.S. Route 51, six miles (9.7 km) southwest of Durant. The state park features two lakes, 45-acre (18 ha) English Lake and 14-acre (5.7 ha) Odum Lake.
LeFleur's Bluff State Park is a public recreation area located on the banks of the Pearl River off Interstate 55 within the city limits of Jackson, Mississippi. The state park is home to a 50-acre (20 ha) lake, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, and the Mississippi Children's Museum.
Roosevelt State Park is a public recreation area located off Interstate 20 on the southwest side of Morton, Mississippi. The state park surrounds 150-acre (61 ha) Shadow Lake at the western edge of Bienville National Forest, between Jackson and Meridian. It is managed by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
The Lake Fish Hatchery Historic District comprises nine buildings built between 1930 and 1932 by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in the National Park Service Rustic style. The buildings exhibit a consistency of style and construction, with exposed gable trusses and oversized paired logs at the corners, all with brown paint. The district is located on the shore of Yellowstone lake near the Lake Hotel The hatchery was established to provide Yellowstone cutthroat trout eggs for state and federal hatcheries outside Yellowstone.
A Mississippi Landmark is a building officially nominated by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and approved by each county's chancery clerk. The Mississippi Landmark designation is the highest form of recognition bestowed on properties by the state of Mississippi, and designated properties are protected from changes that may alter the property's historic character. Currently there are 890 designated landmarks in the state. Mississippi Landmarks are spread out between eighty-one of Mississippi's eighty-two counties; only Issaquena County has no such landmarks.
