The Monterey College of Law (MCL) is a private, non-profit law school founded in 1972 in Monterey, California. The school is approved by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California but is not accredited by the American Bar Association. Saybrook University is a private university in Pasadena, California. It was founded in 1971 by Eleanor Camp Criswell and others. Julian Aeneas McPhee was the sixth university president of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo from 1933 to 1966 and the first president of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona from 1938 to 1966.
