Petrophile pilostyla is a shrub endemic to Western Australia. [1]

The shrub typically grows to a height of 1.7 metres (5.6 ft). It blooms between July and October producing yellow-cream flowers.

It is found on low hills in the Wheatbelt and Mid West regions of Western Australia where it grows in sandy-gravelly soils over limestone or laterite. [1]
