The Men of the Immaculata (MOTI) was founded in 2017 in the Diocese of Baton Rouge. It is an organization that hosts annual Catholic men's conferences. Scott L. Smith, Jr. is currently serving as the Chairman of the Men of the Immaculata. [1] [2] [3]

2021 Conference

The 2021 Men of the Immaculata conference will include Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, Dr. Allen Hunt, and Father Reuben Dykes as speakers. The 2021 theme is "St. Joseph, Pillar of Families, Protector of the Church, and Terror of Demons". [5] Attendees will be encouraged to undertake the Consecration to St. Joseph created by Father Donald Calloway, MIC.

Baton Rouge Kingfish

The Baton Rouge Kingfish were a minor professional ice hockey team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as a member of the East Coast Hockey League. The franchise arrived in Baton Rouge in 1996 after relocating from Erie, Pennsylvania, where they had played as the Erie Panthers since 1988 as one of the ECHL's charter teams. After a team-naming contest, they were renamed the Kingfish in honor of legendary Louisiana governor and U.S. Senator Huey P. Long who shared the nickname. They played as the Baton Rouge Kingfish from 1996 to 2003 before moving to Victoria, British Columbia, as the Victoria Salmon Kings.

Immaculata High School is a private, coeducational, Roman Catholic high school in Somerville, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. Founded in 1962, Immaculata High School operates within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. The school was also served by a group of Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who lived in a convent attached to the main building of the school. A. P. Tureaud American lawyer

Alexander Pierre "A. P." Tureaud, Sr. was an African-American attorney who headed the legal team for the New Orleans chapter of the NAACP during the Civil Rights Movement. With the assistance of Thurgood Marshall and Robert Carter from the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, A. P. The SWAC Championship Game, officially the Cricket Wireless SWAC Championship Game, is an American college football game that is held annually on the first Saturday in December by the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) to determine its football champion. St. George is a proposed city in Louisiana that was approved in a ballot initiative on October 12, 2019. Patricia Haynes Smith is an American politician who served as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from 2008 to 2020, representing District 67. Smith is affiliated with the Democratic party. Her platform focused on promoting access to healthcare and other resources for underprivileged communities and improving education in public schools.

Scott L. Smith, Jr. Catholic American author

Scott L. Smith, Jr. is a Catholic American author and attorney. Smith is the author of several books of Catholic theology and devotion including Pray the Rosary with St. John Paul II, The Catholic ManBook, and a new translation of the Preparation for Total Consecration according to Saint Louis de Montfort. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Men of the Immaculata.
