The 2022 Idaho Attorney General election took place on November 8, 2022, to elect the next attorney general of Idaho. Incumbent Republican Attorney General Lawrence Wasden sought a sixth term in office, [1] but was defeated in the Republican primary on May 17. [2]

Lawrence Garth Wasden is an American attorney and politician who served as the Idaho Attorney General from 2003 to 2023. First elected in 2002, he was the longest-serving attorney general in Idaho history. Wasden was re-elected four more times before being defeated in the 2022 Republican primary by Raúl Labrador.
