The 2022 South Dakota State Auditor election was held on 8 November 2022 in order to elect the State Auditor of South Dakota. Incumbent Republican State Auditor Rich Sattgast was re-elected against Democratic challenger Stephanie Marty and Libertarian nominee Rene Meyer. [1]

On election day 8 November 2022, incumbent state auditor Rich Sattgast was re-elected by a margin of 101,470 votes against his foremost opponent Democratic nominee Stephanie Marty. Sattgast was sworn in on 3 January 2023. [2]
