The holly blue is a butterfly that belongs to the lycaenids or blues family and is native to the Palearctic.

It is found in India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Maldives to Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore, and recently Australia.
