Flucindole (INN Tooltip International Nonproprietary Name, USAN Tooltip United States Adopted Name; developmental code name WIN-35150) is an antipsychotic of the tetrahydrocarbazolamine family with a tricyclic cyclized tryptamine structure that was never marketed. [1] [2] It is the 6,8-difluoro derivative of ciclindole. [3] The drug is about 5 to 10 times more potent than ciclindole both in vitro and in vivo . [2]
