The 2016 Garden Grove, California mayoral election was held on November 8, 2016 to elect the mayor of Garden Grove, California. Republican city councilman Steve Jones was elected to replace retiring mayor Bao Nguyen, a Democrat, who retired to run for California's 46th congressional district. Jones won 98.8% of the vote against his lone opponent, write-in candidate Tony Flores.
