G-protein coupled receptor 161 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GPR161 gene. [5] [6] It is located on primary cilia and regulates embryonic development through suppression of the hedgehog signaling pathway. It appears to act as a mechanoreceptor and may not require an endogenous ligand for activation. [7] [8] [9] [10]
